“…let us not love with word or with tongue, but in action and truth.”

(1 John 3:18)

One of the surest signs of spiritual growth is faith-based Christian service. By God’s design, a Christian’s love of God supernaturally overflows into a new found love for people. In much the same Spirit-led way, maturing believers grow into loving servants, finding true joy in the service of others.

A word of caution is due here. Some confuse religious “works” with grace-based worship. We are not saved by works, but for works (Ephesians 2:8-10).

To be clear, both James and Jesus were blunt in telling us: “faith without corresponding works is dead faith” and “the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve.” Thus, understanding the role of “doing” in “being,” all of our LIFE Groups are encouraged to GROW, in part, by serving together.

Come find your fit in God’s family of faith.
